U2 Vertigo World Tour 2005

hi guys,
well, still looking for my voice, that I lost somewhere in the Amsterdam Arena, home to Ajax FC (Dutch succer club).. Still haven´t found... ;)!
Here a quick update on Thursday nights concert.
Although we didn´t have the best seats (somewhere way up in the stadium :D), the concert (first of three in a row) was one of the best I ever saw of U2.
The crowd (60.000) was extremely loud (also compared to the previous Vertigo concerts, reading fan reviews) and Bono and the band were in optima forma.
We (Diane (friend of mine), my brother Pascal and his wife Tamara) missed the first support act (Kaiser Chiefs, don´t know them) because of some traffic jams, but we finally managed to park the car very close to the stadium (which we later regretted because át the end of the concert you´re the ones that can leave last...).
Anyway, the second support act was awesome, they are called the Killers, from Scotland, and I had done some research/listening in advance - great band that sounds like a magical mixture of the early Simple Minds, Cure and really early Duran Duran (Rio). Charismatic singer that did well, although it is always hard work for the support act.
Around 9 pm U2 started, with Vertigo, and the suprising I Will Follow... we really had a great time... Here´s the setlist:

Ja Ajax is een "succer" club! haha! Ben blij dat je het concert gaaf vond heb dit weekend Bic Runga weer gedraaid ook er goed! Alles goed verder? Doe je ook nog andere dingen dan concerten bezoeken? -
